About Dr. Tsai

Dr. Tsai received her dental degree in Taiwan. After graduation, she completed general practice and prosthodontic specialty training at Shin-Kong Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan; she got board certified in family dentistry and prosthodontics in Taiwan. Dr. Tsai practiced for several years before she joined Louisiana State University, where she completed another specialty training in prosthodontics and a master's degree of science in dentistry. She specializes in all aspects of prosthodontics, including fixed, removable (denture), and dental implant-related prostheses.

What is a prosthodontist?
A prosthodontist is a dentist who has completed dental school plus three additional years of advanced training and education in an ADA-accredited prosthodontic graduate program. They specialize in treating and handling dental and facial problems that restore missing teeth and jaw structures.
A prosthodontist is highly trained in cosmetics, dental implants, crowns, bridges, dentures, temporomandibular disorders (TMJ/TMD), and more.
